I have a gas Furnace that causes banging in the walls when it kicks in sometimes. I cant determine if its a pipe o r something else. How do I determine what it causing the noise and how do I correct it???
It lasts for a bout 1 minute then stops... Is it air in the pipes??

Yes it is hot water heater.. how do i get air out and water back in??

Did you read the two previous posts on this that I provided links for? If so, what don't you understand? There is no point in me re-typing the exact same solution, until I know what part of the previous instructions you don't understand.

Do you have cast iron "stand-up" radiators or baseboard radiators?
