I am laying out the plan to finish
the interior of my garage. I have
garage ceiling that is already
finished with textured plaster and
painted by the previous owner.

After I attach wall board to the walls
what is the best way to make a clean
joint between new drywall and the
finished ceiling without having to
repaint or refinish the ceiling
edges?

Also any pointers on how to install
faced insulation? Does the stuff go
over the wiring runnning between
studs or behind the wires?

our building inspector had us put the insulation behind
the wiring then cut halfway through it and fold it
back around the wire. the more you compress insulation
the less effective it is.
