anyone know if there are proper dimensions (angles for proper light intensity, etc.) for a hotbox to start seeding in? I have secured some plexi-glas and plan to build one for my germinating plants. Anyone ever worked with plexi-glas? What about glues for assembly?

larryh, you might also try the 'Garden' forum, but if you face the plexiglas south, at an angle of about 20 - 25 degrees, you won't be too far from wrong. Plexiglas needs to be able to expand and contract. Leave a gap of about 1/8" between it and the frame you install it in. Design your frames to allow for the expansion and contraction. We use this type of product a lot in the sunrooms we build, and use 1/8" thick double stick tape to seal it. This allows it to move as it needs to. Hope this helps.
