Kitchen Gas Appliances - gas range burners

I have two out of four burners that will "light" on my gas range. When I attempt to turn on the burners, I hear the clicking and I smell gas, but cannot get them to light. How could I check for the pilot light? Also, is there a way to remove the center part of the burner to clean possible residue?

The stove you discribed does not have pilots if you have spark ignition. The most likely problem for the failure of two burners not to lite is restricted ignition ports.

The ignition ports are the small holes that are going up the side of the burner. These holes <ports> face the sparker. There actions can be viewed by looking at a burner that workers correctly. That is, lights from a sparker.

In the above paragraph, tiny flames will be extending out of the ignition ports. <holes> With that in mind, you'll need to clear out any debris in the ports <holes> of the two non lighting burners.
