I have just painted my daughters room in a light lavendar. I would now like to accent her walls with clouds (from the ceiling down 20")to compliment the clouds that are in a border that is going up. Any quick suggestions on the best way to paint clouds on a wall?

I gave the exact method to this question just yesterday but you can do it on dry paint as well. Just know that where ever you place the sponge first is where the foreground of the cloud will be (the dense part of the cloud). As the paint on the sponge depletes you will see some of the background color coming through. Pick out the white paint you want to use for the clouds, pour some of the paint into a flat container. Tear a natural sponge in half. Now all you have to do is start dabbing it on the wall. Decide how cloudy you want it to be. Step back once in a while to see how it is looking. Don't over do. Remember, you can always add more paint taking it off is harder. If you don't feel a cloud is dense enough in areas, go back with your sponge and add more were you want it denser. Doing it on dry wall gives less shading but it still looks very nice.
