layers and layers of paint already on both sides of wooden door. five rectangle molding sections vertically on door. want to make it look like distressed steel. any suggestions?

Although there are various metalic paint products on sale these days,.....I know somebody that has invented various "paints" that can be burnished when dry and look as convincing as the real thing...From verdigri to pure brass......you name it.. The product has been marketed all over the world so it is probably available where you are right now. Ill go and visit him tommorow and see if I can get a web site address if one exists.
Honestly,I have never seen any thing quite like it before.
The quality is far better than any gold guilding that I have seen......Maybe he even has a product that represents steel....Give me a couple of days....O.K..
