Grasscloth is simply grass glued on paper! The best way to strip it (and hopefully the wall was primed prior to application) is to get Dif concentrate liquid wallpaper stripper and following the directions, soak the wallcovering, once completely, then twice completely, then THREE times completely. After this, the grasscloth AND backing SHOULD pull off in full sheets. HINT: use a pump garden sprayer to mix the dif with HOT water.
