I want to build a wood shed, about 10x12 or 10x 14. It needs one window, a vent at the top of the gables, a light socket and an electrical outlet.
Does anyone know where I can get plans or detailed instructions? I've tried checking out books from the do it yourself stores, but to no avail.
THANKS!

I found a great shed in This Old House magazine. They must have a web site. I believe they are still seen on PBS, if so than you should be able to find a web site there. If you are interested in the one I found (it looks like a play house but houses garden equipment) I will pull it from my files. Let me know.

Cyndy,
Someday, I plan to build a shed and I have bookmarked a couple sites with plans which might also help you.
From Popular Mechanics and has detailed instructions:
http://popularmechanics.com/popmech/homei/9506HIHIBP.html
From Wolmanized Wood: http://www.wolmanizedwood.com/shed.gif
A plan you can purchase from PlansNow, may have been featured in Woodsmith or other August Homes magazine: http://www.plansnow.com/plansnow/shed.html or http://store.yahoo.com/woodsmithstore/storageshed.html
There not exactly what your are looking for but I hope they give you some insight.

I just built the most efficient shed. A barn type.
I knew what I wanted in space and looks.
I then went to my local lumber store. A quality store and read thier books on sheds. I purchased a book and took the parts of different plans to match my dream.
I got my dream and compliments too!
