I am looking for plans to build a workbench. Any ideas or know of any books I can find plans in?

Woodworker's Website Association has a nice database of web plans and articles, http://www.woodworking.org/ . Try a article search and a plan search with the keyword "workbench". Also, The Workbench Book by Scott Landis is a nice read but I don't remember it having much for detailed plans, you might see if your local library has it.

Before you build check out european work benches.
Don't forget to incorporate dogs and vises in your design.
