Most carpet cleaning companies have what is called a cookie cutter. This is a tool that cuts out a piece of carpet about 4" in diameter. They then take a piece of carpet from a closet and patch it into the carpet where the burn was. They then put the burned piece in the closed and the problem is solved.
If this is done properly, you'll never know the burn was there. This can be done for the company's minimum billing. In our case, it would be $45. A lot less than the cost of replacement. If we were cleaning the room the cost to remove the burn would be less.

Cookie cutters suck!! They cut the nap. Then you have a noticable circle where the burn was. The key to a invisible patch is don't cut the nap and no gaps or overlaps in the patch edges.
