I have a problem. Milk was spilt onto my carpet . . . and now it has apparently rotted. Could somebody please tell me some household remedies of getting rid of this awful smell that is all throughout my house.

Your carpet will need to be treated with enzymes to "attack" the source rather than the symptoms of the odors.
