I had recently installed a new water heater. I noticed what seems to be a drop in water pressure to the kitchen faucet. I have ample pressure to the washer and bathroom fixtures. I recently purchased the home and dont know if the pressure was there before the change. Typically, What would cause lower pressure to a certain area? FYI. The cold side works fine.

You need to remove the stem on hot side, there is probably some debrie under the stem inside the valve.

Or, if this decrease in pressure is noticed for both the hot and cold water, clean out the aereator on the faucet.
