I'm about to re-decorate my flat but need to prepare the walls first. Most cracks are hairline but some are bigger.
Having looked on your website you recommend "self-adhering fiberglass drywall tape" which I would like to use but no DIY shops seems to sell it? Is there an alternative or could you tell me where I could buy such a product?
Many thanks
Donna

drywall tape both the paper type and the fiberglass type should be available at any building supply outlet. If you can buy the paper type, chances are the fiberglass type would be available at the same place. I beleive the fiberglass type may be slightly more in cost than the paper type, but neither are that expensive. Either way you still have to plaster over the tape and sand smooth. The paper type usually requires a base coat before applying the tape.
Go to a building supply depot that sells lumber, drywall, and most anything that a DIY home owner would require, they will have the fiberglass drywall tape.
