We had just bought a house with 2 bathtubs-no showers! There is tile on the wall up about 4 feet or so, but we need to use some sort of tub surround. Any advise on the best/easiest? Cheapest would be great, too, but not at the expense of ugly. The tiles in the bathrooms are not white, but one has some green and one has some brown. I would love it if it didn't look to mish/mash. thanks

I installed a shower in a bathroom with just a tub also. Make sure the tile is ceramic. The tile in my house is from the 50's and is made of plastic. After a while plastic tile will just fall off the wall unless you keep the water off of it. I hung a shower curtain inside the tub against the wall to keep the water off of it. I haven't had any problems since. It doesn't look bad, and it was the cheapest way to go.
