A while ago, we bought an attachment that lets you vent you dryer into the utility room while it catches the lint. I really like this idea except for the fact that the steam is so humid, it leaves streak marks on the ceiling and walls. We open up the door to the 12x15 utility room but the hot air just stays inside and marks up the ceiling and walls- sometimes with an orangish colored streak.

Wondering if there are any ideas on how to capture the heat but filter out some of the humidity. I sure hate losing all the steam heat in the middle of winter. Thank you for any ideas that you may have.

Hi:Daniel

The item you purchased has been sold by the millions. The other varities of this same type product each sell thousands yearly. Unfortunately, the condition you discribed is common with all those products.

And I would venture to say each and every person has the same problem. Me included...haha Yes...I bought one too.

The fact of the matter is there isn't anything that can be done to remove the moisture from the heat with this product or without it. At least not for a price the general public could or would pay for such an item.

There in lies the answer. Invent the product that removes only the moisture and the smells, yet releases the heat into the room and become an instant million air.

That device is so inexpensive, it becomes hardly worth the time and effort to get the money refunded. Therefore, many remain idle on a shelf, in a closet or shop cabinet.
