I want to heat a sauna using infrared heaters totaling 1500 watts.I would like to control the temp. up to 130 degrees by turning down the volts rather then using a thermastate. Is there some way to do that? I am using 120 volts through 8 heaters of 130 watts each. the idea is to keep the infrared heaters on at all times yet be able to regulate the temp. Thanks for any help Dale

You'll need a type of reostat. Call the manufacturer of your heaters and find out whether or not you can do this without damaging your heat.
