I plan to stencil a cement floor on a screened in porch. Should I seal it first and what type of paint do I use for the stenciling? The porch and cement floor are new. What type of protective finish should I use?

You can buy floor paint from most DIY stores in a variety of colours. The stencil could then be painted in any emulsion (water based paint). To make sure your floor stays hard warring, apply a coat of yacht varnish and it will last for years!
