Allergy suffering family is considering purchase of an Aprilaire Electronic Air Cleaner - Model 5000. The specs appear impressive and a notch above the Honeywell F50. Does anyone have any experience with or thoughts about this unit? I believe it may be pretty new to the market.

Go with the Aprilaire. They've been around a long time specifically dealing with air quality. Mind you they are alittle more expensive, but well worth it.
