i recently moved in a single story brick home(1500 sq. ft.)with a crawl space under the house. the floors are carpeted, and there is insulation installed against the floor under the house. however, with respect to the vapor barrier, i noticed the insulation is installed backwards. is this a bad thing? is it serving a good purpose as is, or should i reverse it(tough job), or add more over the existing? i live in charleston, sc, and we don't have long periods of freezing weather. tks, agee

the paper vapor barrier is not against the floor bottom, it's facing outward. agee
