Has anyone heard of problems with laminate flooring (specifically Pergo) over concrete slab that has cracks in it? Changes NOT due to moisture specifically, but due to movement? Like shifting or buckling or heaving or the pieces separating?

I wouldn't be concerned with some settling cracks that I've seen on concrete slabs, as you're dealing with a floating floor. It won't be as suseptible as a fastened tile or hardwood would be if the cracks would increase in size.

There are products called "crack supression membranes," that can be used in the areas you have if you're that concerned. You can probably get some better insight on this product if you call a larger flooring supply house in your area. Better yet try google.com--best search engine I've ever seen.
