A wall shelf was knocked loose while repairmen were putting in a new A/C unit (the garage and bathroom share a wall) and it fell and cracked my bathroom sink, creating a clean break diagonally across the corner. I think the sink is porcelain and the sink and counter are one unit, much like a hotel bathroom. The house was built in 1984, and best to our knowledge, the sink is original. Can I repair it? If so, how? If not, any suggestions?

Roles,
I don't think that you have a porcelain-over-cast-iron sink, or the corner wouldn't have broken off, unless that was a VERY heavy shelf.
If may be a molded sink, and you can glue it back together with epoxy.
Of course, it will always show, so that is your call.
I think that I would replace the sink. That corner will probably break off again.
Good Luck!

As Old Guy say,"my 2 cents", if the repairmen broke it, I would be looking for them to replace it - like kind/like quality.
