My husband has taken all the paint off of an old dresser. We would like to pickle it, but can't seem to figure out how exactly to do this. He has his ideas on how to do it, but after all the scratches and burns that he left in the wood just from stripping(he would'nt ask for help) I have decided that we could use a few pointers! Also if there is an easy way to get those scratches and burn marks out we would love to know!--thanks for any help!

Starry:
There's a good chance that pickling will hide some of the marks, but you'd be better off sanding them out to be sure they don't show through.
Here are 2 articles that give very good insight into the process.
