I have a 2 stage heat pump with 1 stage air

I trying to replace a honeywell t841a manual t-stat to a lux programmable. when i turn the heat on I blow the 5amp fuse on the air handler control board. here's how I connected the wires
Honeywell-----Lux
X >>>>>>>>>> E
G >>>>>>>>>> G
Y >>>>>>>>>> Y
R >>>>>>>>>> R
O >>>>>>>>>> o
W >>>>>>>>>> W2

I did notice that the W wire is connected to the W1 in the handler with a reyrn wire from outside to W2. Any help? Please

B and O are wrong. You should only have had one of these connected on old and new t'stat. B=reversing valve in heat and O=reversing valve in cool. Your X to E should be disconnected as I believe on the honeywell X is common. On the lux E= em heat, but I'm not sure. It should be with the paper work you got with the Lux.

Thamk you for your reply. I did find the problem. with the smallest print available in the installation there was a note regarding the B wire or common. which I removed. all is warm. Thanks
