Hi, I have an off white linen or tweed type large pillow I'd like to stain a 'tea' color. I've heard of doing this by soaking the material in tea. With pillows which don't include a zipper slip cover, can I just do it in the washing machine or bath tub?

Hi,

I would unpick the cover and stain just the cover, otherwise your lovely pillow will 'smell' of tea as well!
