Dear Members,
I was wondering if anyone could perhaps help with a water damage problem I have. My Subfloor is concrete as I live in a Condo. However, I accidently fell asleep with a bag of ice on the counter. Needless to say this melted overnight and has now lifted and warped the floor in a 3 foot by 3 foot area. I am currently allowing the parkay flooring to dry naturally and have attempted to weigh down the outside edges to prevent further warping. I have had to remove approximately 9 4 inch by 4 inch "tiles" of the floor and am allowing those to dry on newspaper at this time.
My question, is there anything else that I can do to minimize the damage that I know my floor will sustain other than what I have done ? and is there any advice that anyone would be able to provide to make the repairs go as smoothly as possible once everything has dried out ?
Thank you for your help !!
