hi, when I moved into my house from my mother's my in-laws gave us their old couch that was a spare in the rec room, this couch is about 20 years old I know it is time for a new one but I don't have money to afford one, anyway it is brown with flowers (I hate brown)I know i have to change the foam, I want to recover the couch with a color that will go with any color, I don't want to just throw a nice colored sheet on it I want it to look like the original material. What would the best and inexpensive color and material be? how would i recover it with the new material?

I hope you can help because I am sick of looking at this brown couch.
