We recently purchased a home and are re-doing all the floors, carpet, etc. We would like to replace the ceramic tile in the entry with marble. How difficult is it to remove the tile and how is it done? Is there any way to resurface tile (color) other than taking it out? Thanks for your help!!

It depends on the size of tile. I am no pro, but I used a chisel and a hammer and just whacked them out. My bathroom had very small tile so I had to use a screwdriver and hammer. It is messy work, but wasn't too bad. Always start at corners.
