I have an old tub and I want to have it either refinished or have a tubliner made for it. I've heard that the tub liners scratch and mark easily and lose their shine. But I've also heard that refinishing only lasts about 5 years.
Any suggestions for either refinishing techniques?

Hi
Refinishing , if done correctly , and taken care of correctly, CAN last for 5 years.
The liners are a pretty good product I believe. A couple of years ago I went through a factory in Chicago and it was pretty impressive. I will post a site of a guy that sell the liners made at the factory I toured. He has a lot of info there.
