Help! I need to redo the nursery in our church. It is a 10X12 foot room with a large window on one wall and the door on the opposite wall. The problem is the ceiling is 10 feet high. The room is currently painted in a very sad blue. I can paint anyway I want but need ideas on how to sound proof better and deal with the high ceiling.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi,
One great way of dressing a ceiling to soften it is to add fabric.
I've used voile and it works well. It should sound proof too, without covering that lovely high ceiling you have.
Silk could also work.
See http://www.housedoctorintheuk.co.uk for an example used in a conservatory!
