I recently purchased an unstained entertainment center. Last night I finished the staining process and am ready to apply my varnish. But before I do so I need some advice.

For whatever reason, the manufacturer of this entertainment center left a small gap (approx. 3-5 mm wide) where the front and the sides meet - it runs the height of the center. I tried the best I could to get my stain in this gap, but unfortunately a small area of unstained wood is still visible.

Is there any simple advice or tips as to how I can evenly distribute my stain within this gap area??

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Try a Q-tip if it will fit, or a small artist's paint brush.

Rick's answer is exactly what I would have suggested.

I'll give those a try. Thanks.

Someone else suggested something called a previal sprayer. Apparently you get them a paint store for about $4. Any thoughts?
