Is it ok to use two diferent thinsets on the same job. I bought fullflex but after taking a better look at the tiles I noticed they had deep ridges on the back and I would need more. My wife came back with flexbond. There both latex modified. The tiles are 14 inch going on cement board. Also I live in the Detroit Metro area, what is a fair price per sq. ft. to install these 14 inch tiles. About 180 sq.ft. on a diagonal. Just wondering.

Hi ddj,
Yes its ok to use two different thinsets on the same job just don't mix them together in the same batch. As for the pricing I would not even want to venture a guess what it would be. In upstate New York it would be about 4 bucks.(Metro areas tend to be higher)
