Hi, my name is Mike Griffel and I am on the editorial staff at Harris Publishing Inc. in Idaho Falls, ID. We are starting a new magazine for gardeners in the Rocky Mountain and High Plains regions in the west. The pioneer issue debuts in March 2001.
I am writing an article on tips and tricks to grow great vegetables and other garden plants in high-altitude soils.
I need information on how gardeners can perform simple soil tests to help profile their soils and any other information to help them grow bigger and better vegetables and flowers.
I will be happy to give credit to anyone that contributes with experience and expertise in the article.
I can be reached by any of the ways listed below.
Thankyou for your time.

Check your County and State agricultural department offices, and area agricultural universities. They undoubtedly already have a mountain (lousy pun intended) of information. LOL
Good Luck!
