how do I seal joint between two sections of marble countertop? How to attach/seal joint at backsplash?

Hey Salty,
You need to be careful with certain caulks and silicones (they may stain the marble) You must find one that is approved for marble (try a marble fabricator or tile supply house in your area) I have seen many marble tops (especially white marbles) that have been ruined by caulk! (The stain looks like an oil mark around the joint) or you could try a two part epoxy? (Mapaei and Laticrete both make some good epoxy mixes)
