I want to change the look in my kitchen. I currently have a tile floor and tile countertops that match and want to change the color. Can I retile the countertops without removing the tile? Would a new substrate be required if I removed the current tile? Also, how do you remove floor tiles applied to concrete substrate?
Thank you.
Thank you.

It's amazing how many questions you managed to ask in so short a space. :-)
On the countertop, I'd need to know what's under the current tile. Anything is possible, and I've done some stuff that I thought might be impossible and got away with it. Question is, how's it going to look? And will it fool you family members into thinking you had it done by a pro?
On the floor issue, we try not to remove tiles from slabs. We install new tiles over the top -- if the original installation is sound. Usually, the slight increase in height can be accommodated.
