hi, i am restoring a camel back trunk and would like to know how if i can remove aluminum paint from the wood and the canvas.it has been on there a very long time.thankyou

Removing the paint from the wood can be accomplished with a good stripper. Removing the paint from teh canvsa between (actually under) the metal bands is a 'No-Win' situation. The last trunk I did I removed the canvas and replaced it with new.
