Hey, I have an old oversize chair with upholstered seat and back. One of the rear legs is snapped off w/a diagonal break right where the seat frame sides doweled into it. How can I reinforce the leg when I glue it, keeping in mind that the dowels are half exposed at the corner. The leg is
1"x1" and the chair is pretty heavy even w/out a body in it.Any Ideas, woodwarriors?

Assuming all th epiece fit together well, this is one of those itmes I reach for a hand full of clamps and Devcon 2-Ton epoxy.

Anyone else have any ideas - drop on in.

BTW - If you haven't posted this question in the woodworking forum you might want to consider it. The Timber Tailor and his vistors come up with some great ideas from time to time.
