I am about to lay carpeting on a cement basement floor. Does anyone have an idea what's best to use? How to install? what TYPE of carpeting should a guy use on cement floors etc? Never done it before and am seeking any and all advice I can get.

Put down anything you can afford.

Glue it down or stretch it in.

Get some books on the subject!! Because I would have to write a book here trying to explain it to you.
