I have a dark oak kitchen table and chairs, and would like to change the look.
I would like to whitewash the set to achieve a brighter look, but not sure how to go about this.
Any help would be appreciated.

There are various ways to achieve the look you want, but using a pastel stain (from Minwax) would probably be the easiest. The product is available at many home centers and hardware store, and you can visit the link below to get more information:
