I have just bought my first house and I'm already losing my mind. The flooring on the second floor has MANY creaks and squeaks in it. Everytime I tuck my kids in an walk away, it creaks and wakes them up. I have carpeting down and practically EVERY room on the second floor has creaks in it. (Including the laminated floor in my kitchen). I am still under the 1 year warranty (being in the house 7 months) any ideas? Should the builder have to fix this or is it not fixable?? Thanks!

Yes, the builder should fix this under warranty. Sounds like you builder tried to save money by simply nailing down the sub-floor instead of screwing it down, or gluing AND nailing it down.
I had a friend with a similar experience and the builder pulled up all of the carpet, screwed down the floor in all of the squeaky spots and reinstalled the carpet. Don't let them try to fix the squeaks without pulling up the carpet, this is the only way to do it right.
