I have a redwood open deck attached to the back of my house. It gets very hot with the sun beating down on us. I would like to cover it with some kind of climbing flower such as Morning Glory or Clematis. I need some inexpensive and easy suggestions of what to put over the deck to filter the sunlight. I will be doing the work myself so it needs to be easy since I am not a builder. Also, some suggestions for heat-resistant plants for the covering would be welcomed. I live in OK which is zone 7 I believe. Thanks for your time.
