I am interested in learning more about painting tiles in the bathroom. Our bathroom is currently pink with brown trim and I would like to atleast change the color of the trim. I am familiar with replacing tile, but am hoping this is a less expensive alternative. Thanks!!!

I lived in Germany recently and I had a bathroom with floor to wall white tiles. BORING! I stamped and painted on clear contact paper using rubber stamps and acrylic craft paint. I then cut out my designs and applied them wherever I wanted to. The best part is when it was time to leave I just peeled them off. I am sure you could use colored contact paper and just cover the tiles. If you then wanted to change the color you could with ease. I have used Tile paint before and it tends to chip. Not a good choice for high use areas. They also make metal tile covers with pre-applied designs that just fit over your pre-existing tiles. Good Luck!
