I plan to repaint my dark kitchen cabinets. How do I start? Do I remove any current finish? Do I just clean (with what?) and sand and then prime (with what?)?

hi there,

you need to sand cabinets with 150 grit sand paper.
wipe cab. off with varsol or mineral spirits. prime surfaces with (1) one coat of oil primer. I recommend a 3" brush for this job. do not use roller !!! Apply (1)or (2) coats of oil semi-gloss or gloss to surface. Have fun :o)
