How can you make a repair to marble or a stone top, that will last.

While I do make repairs to antiques, I haven't faced this problem. Here's a link with a very knowledgable moderator who does deal with antiques, their care, and repair.

Jim Cole is the moderator here, and will probably be able to give yo good advice. Specify whether you want to repair stone or marble - I do know the techniques are different. Specify also what TYPE of repair, i.e. scratches, broken, chips, etc.
