how is LP siding attached to exterior walls?

Hello
with nails depending aohow wide the siding boards are,
4" and 6" are usualy nailed with a one nail each stud at the top so the next board will cover it..Blind nailing.
Some of the 6" siding is nailed bottom and top and bottem, the top nail is blined nailed under the next siding board..
The new siding, Man made siding all come with very specific instruction on how to nail there siding product and must be followed if you want any garantee at all
