I have 2 window air conditioners. What is the best way to keep cold air out in the winter time? Also what is the simplest thing to do about windows? I need the least expensive way of helping keep us warm this winter.
Thanks,wetcement

Remove units and seal windows as the other windows in house are sealed.Hardware stores sell a shrinkable window. You place a self backing tape around the window molding, the clear plastic adheres to it.Take a hair dryer, warm the plastic up and it shrinks nice and tight and air proof.MOST important have a qualified TECH come out and tune your system to max efficiency. It doesn't hurt to insure your heating system is SAFE and running good.PDF Forgot to mention>>>>>>keep any unused rooms closed, keep closets closed(measure sqft of closets)thats a lot of area you do not need to heat.PDF
