We would like to paint our UGLY dark wood cupcoards in our apartment's kitchen with melamine paint. Do you know if there are any hidden hazards with using this paint or tinting it? Will it crack? Will it bubble?

Yes you can paint your with melamine but first u need to get the OK from your landlord! Then you need to clean the surface with a good cleaner( spic and span) or other it has to be clean!!!!! Then you will have to apply a melamine primer before. Let dry 24 Hours. Then apply melamine paint to surface. This is very tricky because melamine is hard to paint with. Be careful for sagging and drips. Once it hardens thats it!!!! Apply in thin coats. 3 coats!! Need well ventilated area. With lint free roller or brush. This is a safe paint to use that I'am awhere of. Very durable and can be used on counter tops also.Any more questions email me at hc@nci1.net Tell me that its you or I will not open the email because of viruses. I Like to help people not destroy their computors! Good luck Herm
