If the bricks are set in a mortar bed or on a concrete slab remove them, and clean the old mortar off both surfaces, then reset them with mortar. If you need additional bond strength for some reason go to a building supply (not Home Owners Hell) or a masonry supply and ask for epoxy to add to the mortar. The epoxy can be used alone, be combine with sand, or be combine with mortar to suit the need. The epoxy is not inexpensive, but mortar mix is.
