My super had to replace tiles in my bathroom and didn't get ones the same color. Consequently, he painted over all the tiles. He didn't use any epoxy or glaze, so when I showered the paint began to wrinkle and bulge. I want to take the paint off of the tiles and I need some advice, please. Should I just use a paint stripper? Is this something I can really do myself with some rags and paint remover?

Paint stripper should take the paint off very easily, heck, as far as that goes have you tried to scrape the paint off with a putty knife to save you the money and having to breath the fumes? I will say however, you may find problems getting it out of the grout even with the stripper but at least it won't be peeling off into the tub, most hardware stores will carry a grout file/remover that may help scrape the paint out of the grout. Be sure to follow the instructions on the stripper. If you are planning on re-painting the I would suggest reading the "how-to" on this site and it will give you a general idea.
