I HAVE LATEX PAINTED FIGURES THAT I WAS TOLD TO SEAL WITH A WATER BASED VARNISH. I CAN'T FIND ANY WATER BASED SEALERS FOR EXTERIOR USE. cAN I USE AN INTERIOR POLYUATHANE AS THE LOCAL PAINT STORE ADVISES? THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP.

I am not familiar with any water based exterior clear finishes, I would not use an interior, most interior products will not stand up to the elements very long. Would you consider an oil based exterior clear? If the figures are painted, then why the clear coat, is it not exterior latex paint?

hey chipfo, thanks for your advise, I'll take it. Yes it was exterior latex, so why should I worry. Thanks again, Badge 130
