I am wanting to lighten the walls of a dark blue/gray attic wall. I want to leave the basecoat as is and try to lighten it by glazing(?) or something. I was hoping to do this at chairrail heighth in a kids bedroom that is one big room with a dividing wall. One side is Mary Englebreit yellows, reds, greens, blues and the other is lavender, blue, silver and white, lt green. Any ideas?

I have a few links on faux finishes, I never really got into it but you can look these over while you wait for a reply. Hope it helps a little.
